Description:
Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC is a new air ambulance company specializing in the care and transport of the critically ill and injured on a global basis for individuals, families, insurance companies, government agencies and of course hospitals and healthcare facilities. Being the first program of its kind to be fully accredited to operate in North Carolina and based in the Triangle area, CIC will be fulfilling a large need for our services. Already we have service agreements in place with several hospital and insurance companies to include all of the “Harvard University Affiliated Hospitals and Clinics”, “The Dana Farber Cancer Institute”, “Children’s Hospital Boston”, and the “Travel Assist Network” insurance company to name a few.

Research has estimated over 30% of all general aviation flights in and out of (RDU) Raleigh-Durham International Airport are transporting sick and injured patients for care in the region. The Triangle area has long been considered the medical capital of the Southeastern United States with such academic institutions as Duke University Medical Center, the University of North Carolina Hospitals, WakeMed Hospitals, the University Medical Center of Eastern Carolina at East Carolina University and the Research Triangle Park famous around the world for the many Pharmaceutical and Medical Research Companies located there. Within a short drive of the Triangle is Wake Forest University Hospital at The Bowman School of Medicine. The famous, wealthy, both domestic and foreign dignitaries, royal and average people alike come to these facilities from placed all over the world for care and treatment.

The Triangle area also will provide a perfect launching point for air transports to and from Bermuda as well as the Islands of the Caribbean. CIC will be the closest fixed-wing critical care transport program to Bermuda. Bermuda is currently the largest exporter of patients requiring aeromedical treatment and transport in the hemisphere. The increased numbers of flights are due to the lack of any adult or pediatric advanced cardiac, trauma, critical care and neonatal services. AIC has achieved all required state and federal approvals and licenses to begin operations immediately. We have completed training, test flights, and have secured service agreements with multiple hospitals, healthcare facilities, insurance companies, corporations, and air ambulance brokers.

Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC is seeking to reach our total funding either by a single investment or a combination of various small and large investments. Our minimum request from an investor is $50,000.00, but we do consider smaller amounts when we feel we have great potential for a long term relationship with the investor. We are projecting approximately $5,000,000.00 total additional need. We are accomplishing this by direct investment or a combination of investments and business loans.

The funds will be used for three needs. The primary use of our funding will be for the purchase of a fast and significantly long range aircraft in order to enhance our capabilities. Secondly, funds will be used for general operations and finally, we would like to form and initiate a Neonatal Transport Program.

I would like to expand on the purchase of an aircraft. Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC needs to be able to fly a great distance without having to land and refuel. By not having to stop and refuel as often and along with the fast cruising speed, CIC will be able to fly a large number of flights per day. By doing this it will allow for us to meet increased demands thereby increasing our projected revenue. A jet or turbine aircraft burns the most fuel when taking off and climbing to its cruising altitude. With today's increased expense in fuel prices, the less fuel we can burn during a transport the greater the profit would be. Furthermore by purchasing an aircraft instead of leasing allows us to utilize the aircraft along with our medical equipment and Service Agreements for collateral for our investors.

Additionally we would be able to utilize CIC's dedicated aircraft to provide aeromedical transport services to and from any point in the world. Currently, if requested to transport a patient transatlantic, transpacific, or into a Deep South American country it requires most services to use of a different aircraft. A program near Atlanta supplies these long range aircrafts that are already configured as air ambulances and leased on a per flight basis. The expense for this type of lease is extremely costly and takes up most of the mark up on transports.

Another benefit of purchasing this type of aircraft will be the capability of simultaneous transport of two patients when needed! Right now there are very few fixed wing programs that have this capability. It is significantly in demand when transporting critically ill Neonates. This two patient system allows for transporting both the mother as well as the Neonate thereby keeping both together. It is also very common to have trauma flights with multiple patients. For example a husband and wife are involved in a MVC (Motor Vehicle Collision) while vacationing in Mexico. Their family would like for both of them to be immediately transferred to their home Trauma Center. This would require most programs to either send two aircraft if available or do two back to back flights and delay treatment for one of them. It would be a great cost and time savings to the patients, families and to the insurance company by not having to pay for two full air ambulance transports. By being able to transport both we would be able to charge 1.5 times the normal rate and significantly increase the profits all while reducing the expense for the patient, family and insurance company.

Currently there are no private fixed-wing programs flying Neonatal or small pediatric patients. As a matter of fact there are only a couple hospital based non-private programs with these capabilities. They stay extremely busy! The air ambulance brokers have all informed me that if Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC was to offer a neonatal Transport Program, they would be able to keep us extremely busy. In order to do these flights we would have to purchase additional equipment to include an Isolate, a Neonatal Ventilator, at least six IV syringe pumps for medication administration and a Neonatal Configured Cardiac Monitor. Furthermore there would be additional medical supplies and medications needed to be purchased. Once we had secured funding for the Neonatal team we would either begin training the adult team to care for these small patients, hire an on-call neonatal team or change our hiring policy so that all personal hired would need to have experience in both adult, pediatric and neonatal critical care.

Investing with Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC gives individual investors as well as investment groups and companies an excellent opportunity for financial growth. Furthermore, CIC allows for personal reward by knowing you are part of a program that is helping so many people in need due to being sick or injured. Please contact me to request a Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC Investment Packet which contains our Executive Summary, Business Plan, and a file containing photos showing who and what we are.

Thank you again for your interest in Carolina Intensive Cair, LLC. We look very forward to speaking with you in the very near future.
