Description:
The Fade to Black Production Group is seeking funds to produce their first full length film,"Remnants".
Plot Summary: A rare astrological event causes a permanent worldwide blackout, forcing residents of a middle-class suburb to get by with no modern conveniences. The community pulls together and adapts to a simpler way of life, but their success draws the attention of the less resourceful residents in the area and soon results in a war between subdivisions.
We have a script that was been very well received for its concept and originality. We have great talent lined up for behind and in front of the camera.
The arrival of full HD digital SLR cameras like the Canon 7D and the upcoming RED Scarlet allows for very professional looking productions at a very low cost.
Our budget to produce the film is between 60-100k, and we plan on having completed by Dec.1, 2010.
Investors can expect a 30-40% return on their investment in less than year.
This is a very timely story that is a very different take on the typical "end of the world" film. We know how to make this a great film. Please help us make this a reality.
