Description:
We are a locally owned publication currently serving the needs of merchants in the Calhoun County Alabama area. Our first issue will hit the stands on June 1st. We cater to our local economy and are currently the only type of publication of our kind in this area. The response from local merchants has been overwhelmingly positive to our idea and concept. Currently, there isn't a cost effective way for area businesses to advertise so our idea is very well received. We currently have approximately 25 businesses already signed up to advertise with us and we haven't even gone to print on the first issue yet. We are needing start up funds to help get the publication up and running and to help pay for printing cost and distribution costs. Our long term business plan is to grow our business and coverage area to include the surrounding cities and counties (Etowah, Talladega) and eventually the entire state of Alabama.

I have been in the publishing business for over 10 yrs but on a national level. My wife has been a graphic artist for over 10 years as well and has extensive knowledge of print media layout and design.

We truly believe we are onto something special for our market. We just need a little help to get things going.

We are seeking $15,000 in additional funding.
