Parentricity is a social network for parents, both mothers and fathers, of young children. It’s a place for parents to connect with trusted friends & family while expressing themselves as parents.

Parentricity is a place where parents can form their own groups or address the entire network, talk to peers & family from around the country or to professionals, and leverage the collective wisdom, experience, advice and humor of an entire community as they look to make the best decisions for their children.

Parentricity has a few primary points of differentiation:

1. It is the only social networking site focusing on both set of parents. Amazingly, while there are players in this category that target mothers, there is not one that is designed to appeal to both.

2. Businesses can create business profiles where they can communicate with their customers and parents in a social networking environment. This will be a new medium for businesses to communicate and interact with parents where they will be able to directly connect.

3. We will be working with schools and teachers to enable them to create social networks where they can interact with parents outside of school. This will allow for greater interaction and build a stronger relationship for all involved.

Parentricity is currently in private alpha for about four months and recently surpassed the 20,000 parents with 13,000 moms and 7,000 dads.
