Description:
I own an established homecare company in Connecticut. I have two sides to the business. A non certified side which has been open since March of 2003. This side provides homemakers and companions to the elderly to help them with the daily routines in life such as shopping, cleaning, meal preparation, laundry and accompanying them to doctor appointments. We currently have nearly 700 clients in Connecticut and are on a run rate of $5.5 million dollars in revenue on an annual basis
In January of 2006 we started a certified side this allows us to provide nurses, certified nursing assistants, physical therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapist, nutritionists, dieticians to the elderly. It took us nearly 1 year to get our department of public health license and certification from Medicare and Medicaid. At the present time we have 80 clients. We are still not yet at a break even point. We are looking for partners to help us grow the business. We have invested nearly 650,000 of our own money and obtained various loans to fund this company. We are now in need of equity. We believe this is a great opportunity since more and more people are getting older and want to stay home rather than go to a nursing home. If this is something that you would be interested in please contact me. If you are not interested maybe you know someone that is. We are not looking for passive investors but investors that would like to be involved in this growing field.
