Coupster is a mobile marketing company featuring SMS text message coupons sent direct to your cell phone. Coupster differentiates itself from other text message campaigns with its unique IVR (Interactive Voice Response) phone system. This allows consumers the ease of using their coupons at will and never receiving any spam.
With more than 220 million Americans using cell phones today and over ninety percent of all cell phones text message capable, a natural marriage of technology and marketing is emerging. With Coupster, subscribers call our Toll-free number and select the coupon at their convenience, show it to the vendor they have chosen, and enjoy the savings. Presently there are very few companies in this new industry of mobile marketing that offer text message coupons. While there are a few companies which provide similar services we do not consider them competitors as they are not approaching the Mobile Couponing realm with comparable service offerings.
Whle in Phase 1 Coupster offers our service free to the vendor, and charges our subscribers a small monthly fee. When we enter Phase 2 we will be adding "Fee for Service" options, such as "Opt-in Text Message blasts" and display advertising on our web site, for our vendors. We believe that by offering Coupster's base service free to the vendor we will create an extensive vendor data base and strong coupons that potential subscribers will immediately recognize the value of, and as a result sign on with us.
Coupster is seeking $1 million. The proceeds will be used to expand the company’s sales and marketing efforts, along with increasing product functionality and business development. This is a long term equity investment. We are currently up and running in the South Florida area. Our intent is to roll our service out nationally in the next 18-24 months.
