Go4Funding.com is an online platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and business experts from around the world. In the “Funding Needed” section of our website, new entrepreneurs and existing business owners can post their capital requirements. In the “Looking To Invest” section, investors, who are looking to invest, can post their profiles so that entrepreneurs can find them easily. Sometimes entrepreneurs may not need capital but may seek business partners or the opinions of other experienced investors or entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs can post these requests in our “Business Ideas” section. In the “Need An Expert” section, entrepreneurs can find experts in their field of industry by posting their requirements. They can even advertise work for equity jobs for experts (e.g. CEO, CFO, or marketing manager).

Go4Funding also allows all users to upload images and videos of their pitch. Our beta version is the first step in achieving our goal of simplicity. We will continuously add various tools over the coming months, which we believe will be beneficial to all our users. At the same time, we are always open to ideas that will help improve your overall online experience. Go4Funding, LLC has been developed by an avid entrepreneur and investor, Chandra S. Pemmasani, M.D., a physician with a passion for business development and entrepreneurship. At the age of 26, Dr. Pemmasani started USMLEWorld, a test preparation company for medical students and residents. Within two years of its inception, it became the global leader in online test preparation for all USMLE examinations.

With the success of USMLEWorld, Dr. Pemmasani decided to invest in other early-stage companies. However, his busy hospital schedule limited his ability to meet with prospective entrepreneurs and evaluate angel pitches. To simplify the whole process of investing, Dr. Pemmasani founded Go4Funding in March 2007, an online network that connects entrepreneurs, investors, and business experts from around the world. His vision is to create a fast and friendly platform for community members to interact, and a place where entrepreneurs and investors can easily establish potential leads and make wise investment decisions.

In less than one year since its launch, Go4Funding has established several successful investments between investors and entrepreneurs. Dr. Pemmasani, himself, has identified some very remarkable deals on Go4Funding and is currently in negotiations with entrepreneurs on prospective ventures.

Shekar Nair, Advisor
Shekar Nair has over 20 years of industry experience in Information Technology. He is very passionate about working with entrepreneurs and has been an advisor and investor in various startup ventures.

From 1994 to 2000, Nair was part of Xylan Corporation, a very successful data communications company in Calabasas, California. Throughout those years at Xylan, Nair was able to experience many of its milestones, including its successful inception in 1994, a lucrative IPO in 1996, as well as the global expansion of Xylan in 1998. When the corporation expanded globally, Nair became actively involved in the launch and daily operations of Xylan in Bangalore, India. The year 1999 marked another major milestone for the Xylan Corporation, who was acquired by Alcatel for over $3 billion.

In 2000, Nair co-founded Allegro Networks, another data communications company in San Jose, CA. The team at Allegro Networks built an innovative multi-router system for the internet service providers. Nair was responsible for product development and held a well-respected seat on the company board. He also started Allegro Networks operations in Bangalore, India. Allegro Networks was the recipient of the Silicon India’s Best Technology Companies of 2001 and was also listed in Network World's 8 Hot Startups of 2002.

In 2003, Nair was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Thomas Weisel Venture Partners, where he helped evaluate various startup technologies and companies. Most recently, Nair was the General Manager of NetApp India operations. Prior to these commitments, Nair has held various individual and team lead roles in software development companies in the United States and India.

Nair has a M.S. in Computer Science and has United States patents in data communication technology.
