This section contains answers to the most frequently asked questions received at
the Go4Funding website. Click on the question to toggle the display of response.

contact us directly and include your login information,
error message and the detailed steps to replicate the issue you are reporting.
Currently, membership to Go4Funding is free of charge. In order to become a registered
member, simply click the “Register” link found on the Go4Funding.com homepage. Registration
takes 3 easy steps.
- In the Login section, select a unique username, password, and e-mail address. This
e-mail address will be used throughout your membership for correspondence between
you and the Go4Funding staff and Go4Funding community members.
- In the Personal Information section, enter your first and last name, country of
origin, city, and telephone number.
- You must also select your business role (entrepreneur, investor, or expert) in the
Business information section of the Go4Funding website and agree to the Terms of
Use in order to proceed.
- Once you login, please fill out the “About Yourself” section. This will increase
your legitimacy towards other users and about your proposal.
Yes. We will never share or give your personal information to third-parties. For
your own safety, we do not recommend that any personal information be revealed in
any of your postings (such as address, telephone number, social security number,
etc.) or in the “About Me” section of the profile page. If you wish to contact other
community members, you can do so through Go4Funding. Please read our Privacy Policy
for more information.
For members who do not remember their password, please go to the Login page and
enter your registered e-mail. An e-mail will be sent to your account containing
your password.
For members who do not remember their user ID, please send an e-mail using our “Contact
Us” page explaining your situation. Once we verify your information, we will send
you your registered user ID via e-mail.
All posts are reviewed within 24 hours before they can be activated. If your post
has violated the Terms of Agreement or failed to meet Go4Funding guidelines, it
will not be activated. The most common reasons why posts are not activated are because
personal information such as an e-mail or home address was disclosed in the posting.
Please refer to the “Status” section of your account to follow-up with any postings
made. Also, duplicate posts will not be accepted. We recommend waiting for at least
one month before posting the same post.
For all users who have just registered, you are required to check your e-mail and
follow the link provided in order to activate your account.
For all investors who have registered, your account is first reviewed, verified,
and in some cases, a follow-up call will be made prior to activation of your account.
Yes, but we do not recommend sending any e-mails regarding funding requests directly
to us. Please post your requirements online only. Go4Funding will pursue any endeavor
if it is deemed interesting enough.
Yes. We are a trusted site and receive, on average, between 5-10 new investors who
register with us daily. In addition, there have also been many successful matches
between entrepreneurs and accredited investors since we have launched.
At Go4Funding, we take all efforts to verify a user and their intentions. However,
it is absolutely impossible to do a background check on every investor who is registered
with us. As of January 30, 2008, we have enforced a minimal check policy to all
investors who are newly registered members. We recommend entrepreneurs contact only
people whose status is shown as “Investor.” These are the users we verify. In addition,
all users are strongly recommended to execute sound common sense and personal discretion
when making any online deals. We recommend users to inform us for any suspicious
activity simply by clicking the “Report Abuse” button. Please review our Safety
Tips in our “Avoid Getting Scammed” article for more information about
online safety. One common sense point is that a legitimate investor will never ask
for any fee up front to review your application, due diligence, liability insurance
costs, or lawyer costs. Avoid dealing with any investor who asks for money from
you.
Unfortunately, no, we do not release any private information regarding any of our
members. However, we can tell you if we verified the investor or not. If you are
interested in contacting a specific investor, we strongly suggest that you get in
touch with Go4Funding, and we will provide you with the basic guidelines in making
wise investment decisions.
Currently, Go4Funding charges fee for each featured-listing/post and to communicate between users. We also make
money from the advertisements on our website.
Go4Funding users can access our website using Windows XP/Vista or higher, Internet
Explorer 6.0+, Firefox 1.5+, Mac 10.3.9, or higher.
You can send an e-mail to us using the “Contact us” form, and we will deactivate
your account upon request.
Go4Funding is currently offering registration services for free. However, Go4Funding has adopted the following membership structure for other services. Go4Funding reserves the right to change the structure and fees at any time with or without sufficient notice.
Regular Membership: Free membership. Users can browse all posts and use other features like adding favorites, bulletins, etc. However, regular membership users will be restricted to contact other users.
Premium Membership: $25 for 30 days. With this membership, users will have access to an investor directory and can initiate up to five (5) contacts per day, in addition to all the features available with Regular Membership.
Regular Listing/post: Go4Funding will list your funding request or related needs for free. Users can activate and deactivate their posts at any time. Until the post is reviewed, the post will remain deactivated. If a post is edited after it is activated, it will be deactivated and reviewed again for the changes
Featured Listing/post: Go4Funding offers their members an opportunity to gain even more exposure of their listings/funding requests. For just $25.00 (US), a listing can be featured on the Go4Funding home page for seven days. Once a request is posted, it will be reviewed and activated if it meets the Go4Funding guidelines. The seven days will be calculated from the date of activation. After the seven days, the published request will be automatically returned to the pool of standard posts; however, it will always have a “Featured Listing” tag to distinguish it from regular posts. If a post is edited after it is activated, it will be reviewed again for the changes. Until the post is reviewed, the post will remain deactivated. However, the Featured Listing period will always be calculated from the first activation after the payment was made.
