Description:
I have produced a sound marketing strategy and production plan for my product, a unique and interesting supplement/stimulant aimed at college students and professionals. I need a small capital investment to move ahead with product development, the allocation of which capital I will outline later in the proposal.
The initial marketing of the product will be online, by multiple professional internet marketers who will receive 50% of the product price. Since I have training as an online marketer, I know that this model will work very well with my product. This will continue until sales stabilize enough for me to open my own online store, at which point I will begin producing more products for the brand.
In return for this investment, the investor will receive $0.50 per product sold, for the first 40,000 units sold, with a preference for further investment opportunities. The product itself is particularly inexpensive for its market, as I intend to dominate its competitors in order to build a brand name that will eventually ship more products.
The $5000 will be used as follows:
$500 for product design (rough designs have already been created)
$3000 for production set-up and testing
$500 marketing setup
$1000 reserve
I have limited expenses to the absolute minimum, mainly due to my confidence in the model, but also due to my experience with online marketing. I believe that this is an ideal opportunity for those new to angel investing to get a feel for process in a small-risk situation. I will also be using this process to demonstrate how to set up a successful online business in various guides, in which the investor may want to be mentioned.
