Haven is a hip, classy and sophisticated mountain lounge located in the heart of Main St. in Breckenridge, CO. Have a seat at our colorful and welcoming bar, relax on our inviting couches or grab a table and enjoy a signature cocktail and unique light fare food. Haven will be a place where customers can enjoy their group of friends, mingle with other customers or enjoy a romantic evening with their partner.

The Market:
Havens primary customers will be the 3 million yearly visitors to Breckenridge during the winter and summer. Our customers will be adults of age 30+ visiting Breckenridge from all over the United States and the world with their family, friends or significant others. There are also nearly 4,000 year-round local residents who will enjoy the opportunity to frequent Haven.

The Competition:
Haven will be the first stand-alone upscale mountain lounge in Breckenridge. While Breckenridge has a thriving marketplace for restaurants, hotel bars, pubs and nightclubs, Haven is the “something missing” for a more mature clientele seeking a place for entertainment other than a restaurant, nightclub or pub.

The Management:
The management team of Kevin Holmquest and Heather Olson are realizing their dream of owning and managing a hip, classy and sophisticated upscale lounge. Kevin brings his experience of 14 years in the bar industry across the United States and Heather brings her depth of people and staff management experience as well as influence of city lounges from her native Chicago. Together Kevin and Heather found a shared vision and profound drive to run and operate a business that is sure to succeed for years to come.

Financials:
Havens owners and management team are seeking 100-300K investment / loan from qualified investors to open a successful and profitable upscale mountain lounge in Breckenridge. These investment funds will cover property, construction, design, equipment, inventory purchasing and operating capital to achieve the sales projections in the financial worksheets at the end of this business plan. Payback of total invested capital in Haven will be realized in less than 24 months of operation. Cash flow becomes positive from operations within 6 months from opening and profits are expected in the first year with substantial profit growth. A substantial ROI is expected.
