Dear Sir / Madam,

We are intrested in securing finance to assist us in procuring a milk UHT plant ( full system) for Zimbabwe that can Reconstitue Milk Powder and give us a finished product with a shelve life of above 3 months... ( UHT or sterilized).. This needs to be installed and implemented

We would be looking to produce 10000ltrs per day initially with plans to expand after perhaps 1yr.

When looking at the various processes we have considered using a Basic sterilisation process using PET bottles containing sterilized milk ( SteriMilk) which has a shelf life of 3-4 months.. Which would require a bottling plant for the pet bottles which are available to purchase here in Zimbabwe at around 5-7c per bottle.

We would obviously would much prefer to use the UHT option and do our costings on ( Tetra Pak) Carton packaging as that is the most effiecient process however more expensive..

Zimbabwe has had the national dairy herd basically erradicated in the previous 10 years due to the Zimbabwean government's Farm invasions and Policys..

We have a big oppertunity right now due to our supply chain on milk powder from Brazil as we are the only Zimbabwean company to get vetinanery approval on Milk Powder for import from overseas thus far.. We are currently only supplying Milk powder into the market in retail packs but with the current import of UHT brands of 1ltr carton Pack has now reached ( 6.5m Ltrs per month) with noone currently producing UHT locally.. currently everything is imported.. and a lot of transport costs are unneeded from south africa effectively shipping water! we are in a race to compete with South African Organizations planning on coming into our market.. We would like to indroduce our own zimbabwean brand.

We are currently suppling Retail FMCG products as well as our own Milk Powder Brand into Over 150 Large Supermarkets throughout Zimbabwe.

Asset finance is basically impossible in zimbabwe due to the country's previous history but we are in negotiations with a south african finance company to raise capital for equipment but would also like to consider other options .. ( we may need to sacrifice equity, this is still very early stages)

Pasturised Milk is not really Viable in Zimbabwe as the Masses don't have refrigeration.

This is a definate oppertunity for investment.
