Description:
I am a young male tired of working for someone else. I have been working retail for many years, and I feel I know what it takes to develop a successful business. I am currently a manager at a backcountry shop in the front range area. I have seen good managers/business owners and bad ones. I have been taking notes on what to do and what not to do. I come from a entrepreneurial background having my Dad own his own business and succeed at it. I have a management and entrepreneurship degree, and I am ready to use it. I enjoy the outdoors and live through what I would like to sell.

Long story short I have a vision of opening a small chain of outdoor/backcountry retail stores in the front range area. Of course I would like to start with opening one in the Louisville area. These will be very nice stores that will look and play the part of the high-end local backcountry shop. Our main focus will be the Climbing, Skiing, and Backpacking markets. Customer Service/knowledge of product and knowledge about local areas to use the products we sell will be at the forefront of our mission statement. E-commerce will also be a driving force in the business, and I plan on having 30% of sales go out the back door.

We will provide services of:

- A full service boot fitting shop for skiing and mountaineering boots ( I am an experienced boot fitter) AND
- Ski tech shop. (mounts, tunes, etc.)

I have many marketing and budgeting tactics that I feel will make us successful in a state that is full of outdoor enthusiast.

This is just a small piece of structure ideas from my business plan. If interested in investing, please contact me and sign a non-discolure agreement to see more. I am looking for just under one million for the first store to do it right and of course all of that doesn't need to come from one individual. I will be putting in cash also of course.
