There is a website at the moment that isn't making money. It focuses on information. As such it has been around for 8 years. At this time the owner is ready to turn it into a commercial website. I have exclusive rights to buy this until March 31. Right now it gives information on the different wine regions in France, also provides information on tour operators, the cuisine of these regions, driving tips, etc. Since it has been on the web for 8 years as an information site only, it is now coming up in the top 3 searches on Google for "wine tours in France". I want to buy this site and start tours of my own in Alsace. Although this business is in France, I do not plan on moving there, so the monies will stay in the States, if that makes a difference. If you're a big picture thinker, then you might appreciate where this could go. As this becomes profitable, the next step could be to acquire a small hotel or high-end hostel or bed and breakfast, to run tours out of, perhaps. Also, wine tours could be run from countries other than France-still focusing on small vineyards.
